Our History
We are located In Garfield County near Breckinridge, Oklahoma. We are a sanctuary that strives to give abandoned senior dogs the life they deserve through rescue, rehab, fostering, and forever hospice care. We don’t adopt our dogs out. Several of our seniors are therapy dogs who visit patients in nursing homes and in hospice care on a volunteer basis. Our rescue is a caring home based rescue where seniors can live their lives in comfort and love with proper vet care provided. We are a 501(c)3 not for profit organization that relies on support from our kindhearted constituents to continue caring for senior dogs. If we had our way, no dog would spend its last days in a cold, dark shelter. There is so much love and joy in these dogs!

Our Mission
We strive to give abandoned senior dogs the life they deserve through rescue, rehab, and hospice care. Adoptions are very rare as the seniors we rescue often have severe health issues. We often are their last chance before being euthanized. We provide proper vet care and keep them comfortable for the remainder of their lives, whether that turns out to be 2 weeks or 2 years. We have rehabilitated several seniors and now they are therapy dogs that visit nursing homes and hospice patients on a volunteer basis. Gold-level GuideStar participant. 501(c)3
